A Case Study
-
Insurance
Reminders:
An Insurance Company sent reminders
to policyholders to remind them on
payments due, and in advance for the
clients to plan payments. Most of
the information was sent by mail,
and a follow up was made over the
phone.
-
Need:
In many cases the client would not
receive the reminder till it was
past the due date, or receive it on
time and ignore it. Calling over the
phone was not a foolproof method
either some did not answer calls
received from unknown numbers, while
some received calls and forgot to
follow up afterwards.
-
SMS Xprez
Contribution:
SMS Xprez was integrated at the
database level with the main
Insurance Application at use in the
Insurance Company. This integration
led to the existing application
alerting SMS Xprez whenever a
message was to be sent. SMS Xprez
would then send the message to the
desired mobile number.
The “Send Message” report generated
by SMS Xprez provided details to
users on those messages that failed,
due to wrong number or user not
available. This feature gave the
company options to update their
database.
SMS Messages have a higher chance of
being received and viewed, by the
Insurance Company's clients.
Moreover the messages can be stored
in the recipients' mobile phone and
can be referred to later for
payments and follow-ups.
